Schedule Updates:

Irrigation Schedules have been posted for Lines 1-4, 11-18 for the week of December 16, 2024.

The current plan is for no irrigation to run the week of Christmas and New Year. Pending Mother Nature and accounting for the odd number of weeks between the holidays, this is the planned irrigation schedule through December:

Lines 5-10 – week of Dec 9th, week of Jan 6th, week of Feb 3rd

Lines 1-4, 11-18 – week of Dec 16th, week of Jan 13th, week of Feb 10th

Email Updates:

The District email addresses will be changing to: admin@sbfidphx.com, manager@sbfidphx.com, and office@sbfidphx.com. Other ‘named’ emails have gone away!

Effective Immediately:

We no longer accept changes or cancellations for irrigation over the phone or requests left on our answering machine – they must be in writing because it impacts your billing.           

For All Irrigation Changes, email Cari Crew, the Irrigation Manager, at manager@sbfidphx.com or sign up at the boards on the lines BEFORE 10am on Wednesdays before your irrigation week.

You can also come by the office and fill out a customer request change form.

Updated Bridle Path Cleanup Process

Due to the new Bulk Trash pickup from the City of Phoenix, a new Bridle Path Cleanup Policy has been approved by the Board, effective 10/1/2024:

It is the homeowner’s responsibility to maintain the bridle path in a manner that allows irrigators to easily access the irrigation valves, that does not cause damage to the District vehicle, and that does not pose a hazard to employees. As a standard, homeowners should remove vegetation in the bridle path in excess of 6 inches in height and any that protrude more than 6 inches from the fence line. Overhanging branches less than 13.5 feet in height must be removed.

Properties not in compliance with the stated standards will be identified for cleanup to be done by a commercial company, and property owners will be billed for the service provided. The homeowner will receive a notification giving 3 weeks notice prior to the cleanup being performed and they may be billed up to $500 for the cleanup (ARS 48-2978.13 & 17A, ARS 45-454) There will be no further notices. If the homeowner cleans up their bridle path prior to the end of the 3 weeks, they must notify the Irrigation District at (602)938-8760 or manager@sbfidphx.com to prevent the commercial company from incurring a trip charge.

For bridle path blockages that create an emergency condition, the Board will determine the course of action.
